If you are receiving this newsletter, you are aware of the vitally important work that VISIONS is doing and may not be aware that we have been at this for 40 years! Learning from one another and recognizing that our differences are a benefit to us all is the same mission today as it was in 1984 when VISIONS began, despite those who have historically and are currently trying to stop the effort.

Over the last four (4) decades, we have experienced challenges to moving forward in creating a world that includes us all. This year is no different. In fact, this year, our work is being put to the test more than ever as there are those who want to take us back to a time when certain groups are the only ones who benefit. If you are reading this, you know going back in time when we are not seen as equal, when our fellow neighbors are considered less than and not worthy of having equal rights, was a dark time in our country, and in our world. VISIONS is again being challenged to keep this work moving forward, despite the opposition, and our job is just as important today as it was over 40 years ago.

Make your voice heard. Resist against regression. Support VISIONS today. Please help keep the work going. Commit to partner with those who know we cannot go backwards. We have come too far. Stand with VISIONS today!

Your support makes our innovative programming and workshops available to all, supports youth in learning the VISIONS’ model, provides spaces where folks can share their stories of how multiculturalism benefits us here at home and abroad, and shares the tools so that we as individuals can do the inner and outer work, leading us to be our better selves. You are making a way for this vital work to move forward.

From the VP of Consultants - Dr. Valerie Batts

Please join VISIONS for one of our upcoming PACE (Personal Approach to Change and Equity) workshops.  This is the most thorough way to experience the key aspects of our model.  Participants come out of this 4-day experience with new learnings at the personal, interpersonal, systemic and cultural levels.  If you have not attended a PACE session in many years, do join one this season, as the multicultural process of change is on-going. Alternately, do look out for the next PACE II session and for the next round of our on-going supervision groups.  Stay tuned for more information on these upcoming experiences.

The upcoming PACE I session dates are:
