Cassandra Joubert

Cassandra Joubert is a retired public health professional specializing in research and advocacy on behalf of women, children, and infants, in particular. She spent her early career in the non-profit sector, government and philanthropy. Her most recent involvement in racial justice work includes sharing the VISIONS model with early childhood and infant mental health clinicians as Director of the Central California Children’s Institute at Fresno State. She received her Doctor of Science degree in maternal and child health from the Johns Hopkins University, and her undergraduate degree in developmental psychology from Howard University. She currently enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and in the great outdoors, and resides in Vallejo, CA.
