Cassandra Joubert

Cassandra Joubert specializes in public health practice and advocacy for women, children and families. She spent her early career in the non-profit sector, followed by careers in philanthropy and academia. Her most recent involvement in racial justice work includes sharing the VISIONS model with clinicians serving children ages birth to five. Dr. Joubert directs the Central California Children’s Institute at Fresno State, where also is professor in Public Health. She received her Doctor of Science degree in maternal and child health from Johns Hopkins University, and her undergraduate degree in developmental psychology from Howard University.
