Sarah Montes lives in Fresno, CA. She is an operations manager for a computer technology company. She began her career as a service dispatcher and worked her way up to her current management position. Sarah excels at project management and team leadership. When her team succeeds, she succeeds. Sarah is also a professional photographer and owns her own business. She is hired to photograph uplifting events and ensures her clients have their precious life moments memorialized. She is also dedicated to public services and donates her photography time to help capture community events. In 2019, Sarah joined the board of directors for Take a Stand. Take a Stand is a community organizing non-profit organization focused on providing communities and individuals with the knowledge and tools required to mobilize and prevent violence against youth. It is centered on social justice and diversity, equity and inclusion on issues surrounding race, class, gender, age, and sexual orientation. Take A Stand believes that these areas of focus are critical to ending violence against our youth. Sarah also serves as a mentor for Take a Stand’s Glow Up Girls, which is a mentorship program to help young women feel empowered and build their confidence. In June 2019, Sarah joined the leadership team for VISIONS, Inc.: Legacy Project Fresno. This is a leadership development program and summer job opportunity for youth between the ages 14-24. Sarah enjoys working with emerging leaders and being a positive role model to young folks. She is dedicated to public service and empowering youth.
