Atiya McGhee

Atiya McGhee (they/them/theirs) is a doctoral student in the Cultural Foundations of Education program at Syracuse University and is pursuing a certificate of advanced study (CAS) in Women’s and Gender Studies. Prior to Syracuse Atiya worked in Residential Life at several higher education institutions for 5+ years. Atiya currently serves as the teaching assistant for Syracuse’s Selected Studies Education program, and as a facilitator with Rise for Racial Justice in California and the Intergroup Dialogue Collective in New York. Atiya holds a master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont and a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and Literature with a minor in psychology from Wheaton College in Norton, MA.
