Karla Nicholson (she/her) is the Executive Director of Haymarket People’s Fund in Boston, Massachusetts. For 50 years Haymarket has been committed to strengthening the movement for social justice in New England. Through grant making, fundraising, and capacity building Haymarket supports grassroots organizations that address the root causes of injustice. As a multicultural foundation with an anti-racism focus, Haymarket organizes to increase community philanthropy toward social change. With expansive experience and skills in community organizing, grassroots individual fundraising, and organizational development, Karla’s priorities are reinforcing and expanding Haymarket's impact by increasing organizational sustainability and visibility. This vision includes deepening relationships with partners, collaborators, and grantees, while fostering every opportunity to fortify the anti-racism movement.
