PACE (Personal Approach to Change and Equity) Workshop Level II advances the skills learned in Level I, adds new skills and gives participants the opportunity to practice in order to gain increased comfort and fluency in their use.
In Level II, participants:
- Review material from Level I, focusing on areas in which they desire more guidance and practice in using the tools and material.
- Learn about and try on using worldview differences.
- Explore group identity development and its impacts on cross-cultural. interactions and organizational change.
- Practice facilitation skill and intervention strategies (Transactional Analysis/Gestalt theory, cooperative problem solving, and other personal and community change models).
Timing and Location: Depending upon the needs of the client, training can be given over a concentrated four-day period or broken up into successive shorter trainings. Workshops are usually held in the Boston and San Francisco areas. If an organization would like to have a workshop in their home location, they need to guarantee at least 8 participant slots.
Fee: The fee for this workshop is $1,050.00. Space is limited and we strongly urge early enrollment. Submission of a $525.00 deposit reserves a participant space and is due upon registration, or no later than one month before the workshop. The remaining balance of $525.00 is due two weeks prior to the scheduled workshop. Full payment is required prior to attendance. If a workshop is cancelled by VISIONS, participants will receive a full refund. If a participant withdraws, they may apply their fee to another training within one year.
